An adolescent young lady has disappeared in the Narayani River after she obviously tumbled down into the relentless stream while taking selfie.
By District Police Office, Chitwan, Smita Gyawali (19) alongside her companions including Namrata Sapkota of Gaindakot Municipality-16 of Nawalparasi locale, had gone to the waterway bank, on the Gaindakot side, for a walk.
In any case, one of them slipped and tumbled down into the waterway from a stone where they remained to take selfie.
The other, as indicated by an onlooker Shyam Thapa, most presumably Gyawali, hopped into the stream to spare her companion.
Sapkota was safeguarded alive however Gyawali has disappeared in the waterway, police said.
Police educated that they are scanning for Gyawali, an understudy of Aroma College, Bharatpur.
