Conceived in Syangja, Sharma has been singing dohori as far as he can recollect—the class being the most cherished fine art of the spot. In 2002, Sharma's folks sent him to Kathmandu to wind up an architect, however he subtly began performing two part harmonies in a bar called Saptakoshi Dohori Sanjh situated in Chabahil. Later, he began partaking in live dohori rivalries, in which he frequently arrived in the top positions.

Sharma's presentation collection, Syangja Mathi Ban, was discharged in 2003. "I get a ton of offers to sing other's tunes, however I decay as composing my own particular tunes gives me the flexibility to explore and change.
